    Let \(D\) be a bounded simply connected domain in \(\mathbb{R}^3, \Omega =\mathbb{R}^3 \setminus \overline D\). The aim of this paper is to compare the classical solutions \((u,T), u=(u_1,u_2,u_3)\) of the problem \[ \left. \begin{aligned} \tau \partial_tu_i&= -u_i-k\partial_{x_i}T+\mu\Delta u_i + \nu \sum_{j=1}^3 \partial_{x_i} \partial_{x_j} u_j\\ c\partial_t T& =-\partial_{x_i}u_i \end{aligned} \right\}\qquad (x,t)\in\Omega\times \{t> 0\}, \tag{1} \] \[ u_i=0,\qquad (x,t)\in \partial D\times\{t\geq 0\},\quad u_i(x,0) =f_i, \quad T(x,0)=g , \quad x \in\Omega \] and the solution \((v,S)\), \(v=(v_1,v_2,v_3)\) of the system (1) in \(\Omega \times \{t>\varepsilon F(x)\} \) satisfying the same boundary condition on \(\partial D \times \{t\geq\varepsilon F(x)\}\) and the initial conditions \(v_i(x, \varepsilon F(x)) =f_i, S(x,\varepsilon F(x)) =g\) on \(\Omega\). The constants \(\tau, k,\mu,\nu,c\) are positive, \(\varepsilon\) is a small positive parameter, the functions \(f_i\) vanish on \(\partial D\), and \(F(x)\) satisfies the following conditions: \(|F(x)|\leq 1\) and \(|\triangledown F(x) |\leq K\) in \(\Omega\). Let \(w =u-v, \Phi =T-S, \sigma =e^{-\alpha r}\), where \(r=|x-x^0|\) (\(x^0\) is some point in \(D\)), \(E(t)=\int_{\Omega} \sigma(\sum_{i=1}^3 |w_i|^2 +\frac {ck}{\tau} \Phi^2)dx\). The authors prove the estimate \(E(t)\leq E(\varepsilon) e^{\gamma(t-\varepsilon)}\) with some positive \(\alpha\) and \(\gamma\) depending on \(\tau, k, \mu,\nu,c\) and \(D\). Similarly, the continuous dependence on the spatial geometry in a bounded domain for the solutions of the same problem with an added dissipation term is studied.
