Let \(\xi\) and \(\eta\) be real vector bundles of dimension \(p\) and \(q\) respectively, \(0 < p <q\), over a closed smooth connected \(n\)-dimensional manifold \(M\). \textit{U. Koschorke} constructed an obstruction \(\omega(\xi, \eta)\) to the existence of a monomorphism from \(\xi\) to \(\eta\) in a normal bordism group (see [Topology Appl. 75, No. 3, 261--286 (1997; Zbl 0870.55011)]). He showed that, if \(n \leq 2(q - p)\), \(\omega(\xi, \eta) = 0\) is equivalent to the existence of \(\xi \hookrightarrow \eta\). In this paper, the authors apply Koschorke's singularity approach to show the non-immersibility of \(\mathbb{R}P^{10}\) to \(\mathbb{R}^{15}\) (compare with [\textit{P. F. Baum} and \textit{W. Browder}, Topology 3, 305--336 (1965; Zbl 0152.22101)]).
