Distributivity between two dimensionally compatible functions belongs to the traditional problems of mathematics. This paper is focused on one such problem, considering semi-uninorms and semi-\(S\)-uninorms and their left and right distributivity. Note that there are many papers dealing with similar situations, with slightly modified properties of the considered functions, arising mostly from integration theory or fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic theories (recall, e.g., C. Bertoluzza's works on distributivity between triangular norms and triangular conorms). Among other notions considered in this paper, the authors introduce an IFS element \(c\) of semi-\(S\)-uninorms (special binary operations acting on the real unit interval \([0,1]\)), where $c$ is an idempotent element (\(A(c,c)=c\)), satisfying the fixed-value property \(A(c,1)=1\) and the continuity constraint (\(A(c,.)\) is continuous). Then, one of the major results of this work, the coincidence of left distributivity, right distributivity and distributivity between semi-\(S\)-uninorms with IFS e and semi-uninorms with a neutral element \(e\) and satisfying \(U(1,x) = U(x,1) = x\) for all \(x\in[0,e[\) is shown.
