Consider the Dirac operator \(H\) in \(L^2(\mathbb{R})\oplus L^2(\mathbb{R})\) given by \[ H=-iJ\frac{d}{dx}+V,\quad J=\begin{pmatrix} 1&0\\0&-1\end{pmatrix}, \quad V=\begin{pmatrix} 0&q\\\overline{q} &0\end{pmatrix}, \] where \(q\in L^1(\mathbb{R})\) has compact support. It is assumed that there is some \(\gamma >0\) such that \([0,\gamma ]\) is the smallest interval containing the support of \(q\). The fundamental solutions \(\psi ^\pm\) and \(\varphi ^\pm\) of \(Hf=\lambda f\) are chosen such that \[ \psi ^\pm(x,\lambda )=e^{\pm i\lambda x}e_\pm,\;x>\gamma ;\quad \varphi ^\pm(x,\lambda )=e^{\pm i\lambda x}e_\pm,\;x<0, \] where \(e_+=(1,0)\) and \(e_-=(0,1)\). The inverse \(a\) of the transmission coefficient is given by \(a(\lambda )=\det(\psi ^+,\varphi ^-)(\lambda )\). The function \(a\) is an entire function whose zeros lie in \(\mathbb{C}_-\). Let the sequence of these zeros, counted with multiplicity, be \((\lambda _n)_1^\infty \) satisfying \(0<|\lambda _1|\leq |\lambda _2| \leq |\lambda _3|\leq\dots\). It is shown that for all \(p>1\), \[ \sum_{\text{Im}\lambda _n<0}\frac1{|\lambda _n-2i|^p}\leq \frac{CY_p}{\log2} \left(\frac {4\gamma }\pi +\int_{\mathbb{R}}|q(x)|\,dx\right), \] where \(C\leq 2^5\) and \(Y_p=\int_{\mathbb{R}}(1+x^2)^{-\frac p2}\,dx\).
