In the first part of this paper, see the preceding review, Zbl 0706.92014, the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of a certain system of recursions has been investigated. In this part, the results are applied to a selection-migration model for a sex-linked character and to a host-vector (discrete-time) epidemic model. In both cases the asymptotic speed of propagation is found provided certain initial conditions are satisfied.
