    The author investigates the multiple Hurwitz zeta-function \[ \zeta_n(s_1,\dots,s_n;a)=\sum_{\substack{ 0 \leq m_1 < \dots<m_n\\ m_i \in \mathbb Z}} \frac{1}{(m_1+a)^{s_1}\dots(m_n+a)^{s_n}}, \quad a>0, \;s_1,\dots,s_n \in \mathbb C, \] and its specialization \[ \zeta_n(s;a)=\zeta_n(s,\dots,s;a). \] If \(n=0\), then \(\zeta_0(s;a)=1\). When \(s_1,\dots,s_n\) are positive integers with \(s_n \geq 2\), then the values of \(\zeta_n(s_1,\dots,s_n)\) are called multiple zeta values, and they were studied by many authors. In the present paper the limiting processes \[ \begin{aligned} \zeta_n^{\text{Reg}}(s_1,\dots,s_n;a) &=\lim_{t_1 \to s_1}\dots\lim_{t_n \to s_n}\zeta_n(t_1,\dots,t_n;a),\\ \zeta_n^{\text{Rev}}(s_1,\dots,s_n;a) &=\lim_{t_n \to s_n}\dots\lim_{t_1 \to s_1}\zeta_n(t_1,\dots,t_n;a),\\ \zeta_n^{C}(s_1,\dots,s_n;a) &=\lim_{\varepsilon \to 0}\zeta_n(s_1+\varepsilon,\dots,s_n+\varepsilon;a) \end{aligned} \] are considered. Using the Euler-Maclaurin summation formula the author obtains the recurrence relations for \(\zeta_n^{\text{Reg}}(s_1,\dots,s_n;a)\) and \(\zeta_n^{\text{Rev}}(s_1,\dots,s_n;a)\). He also gives certain central values. Assuming that, for \(s \in \mathbb C\), \(s \not \in \{\frac{1}{u} \mid u \in \mathbb Z, 1 \leq u \leq n\}\), the author proves the following identity \[ \zeta_n^C(s,\dots,s;a)=\frac{1}{n}\sum_{k=1}^{n}(-1)^{k+1}\zeta_{n-k}^C(s,\dots,s;a) \zeta_1^C(ks;a). \] As application of this identity a generalization of Lerch's formula is obtained, i.~e., for \(a>0\) and \(n \geq 1\), \[ \zeta_n'(0;a)=\frac{(-1)^{n-1}}{(n-1)!}\prod_{k=1}^{n-1}\bigg(k+a-\frac{1}{2}\bigg) \log\frac{\Gamma(a)}{\sqrt{2 \pi}}. \]
