Computing projective equivalences of special algebraic varieties (Q2332748): Difference between revisions

Given two algebraic varieties, \(X,\,Y\), from special classes, in this paper authors find an associated set of automorphisms of the projective line consisting of suitable candidates for the construction of possible mappings \(X\rightarrow Y\). The approach is presented for computing projective equivalences of rational curves, determining projective equivalences of rational ruled surfaces, detecting affine transformations between planar algebraic curves, computing similarities between two implicitly given algebraic surfaces, and discussing symmetries of given shapes.
