Matrices representing generalized connected fuzzy relations are considered, and the usual operations on fuzzy matrices except subtraction (instead, the author introduced a special type of operation) are adopted. Then some properties of transitive fuzzy matrices are obtained, namely, several conditions for a given fuzzy matrix to be transitive, some properties of ordinary transitive tournaments, etc. The results are useful for discussions of fuzzy preferences and fuzzy digraphs, and they hold for Boolean matrices as well.
