The paper continues previous work on the category \(\mathbf W\) of Archimedean lattice ordered groups with distinguished weak order unit. Among the many papers on this topic, the present one deals with ``hull classes''. The special point is that the category \(\mathbf W\) has no injectives, but unique essential completions. This was proved some decades ago by \textit{P. Conrad} [Duke Math. J. 38, 151-160 (1971; Zbl 0216.03104)]. More generally, a hull class is defined to be a reflective subcategory with respect to essential monomorphisms. Various hull classes, their general properties and peculiarities of the Hasse diagram are studied. Further papers on the subject are announced.
