The authors consider singularly perturbed elliptic problems and assume that the degenerate problem has two solutions intersecting in a smooth Jordan curve. By means of the method of asymptotic upper and lower solutions, the original problem has at least one solution, which possesses asymptotic behavior in a neighborhood curve and other regions, respectively.
