Characterizations of Sobolev inequalities on metric spaces (Q929593): Difference between revisions

Maz'ya type isocapacitary characterizations of Sobolev inequalities on metric measure spaces which are also available on Riemannian manifolds are discussed. The authors show how those Maz'ya type characterizations give necessary and sufficient conditions for Sobolev type inequalities in the context of Newtonian spaces.
