    Let \(\mathbb F_2\) be the finite field with two elements. A polynomial \(A\in\mathbb F_2[x]\) is called perfect if it equals the sum of its divisors. If \(\gcd(A, x^2+x)=1\) then \(A\) is called odd. The authors prove that there are no odd perfect polynomials of the form \(A=P^aQ^bR^c\) where \(P,Q,R\) are distinct irreducible and nonlinear and \(a,b,c\) are positive integers, and that an odd perfect polynomial which is a product of squares of primes has at least ten prime divisors.
