The author considers initial-boundary value problems for a transport equation with an isotropic scattering term and a general (but dissipative) nonlinearity. The properties of the system are such that semigroup theory can be applied to obtain global existence and uniqueness. The orbits are seen to be precompact in suitable Banach spaces, and in combination with the velocity averaging method this is used to prove that each orbit has non-empty, invariant and connected \(\omega\)-limit sets. Each element of this set must be a stationary solution of the problem.
