Let \(\Sigma\) be an \(n\)-dimensional submanifold in \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\). The \(r\)-th Newton transformation \(P_r\) is defined by \[ P_0=I,\;P_r=S_r I=S_{r-1}A+\cdots+(-1)^rA^r \] where \(A\) is the second fundamental form, \(S_r\) is the elementary \(r\)-th symmetric function of the eigenvalues of \(A\). If \(\Sigma\) satisfies \[ \int_\Sigma|P_r|^pd\Sigma <\infty \] then it is called that it has \(L^p\)-finite \(r\)-curvature. In this paper the nonexistence of isometric immersions in \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\) of complete hypersurfaces which has \(L^p\)-finite \(r\)-curvature and which are given as a graph outside a cylinder \(C_{R_0}\) with negative \((r+1)\)-mean curvature bounded away from zero. The \(r\)-minimality of some complete graphs in \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\) which either \(L^p\)-finite \(r\)-curvature or some gradient growth conditions is established. Some Bernstein-type results are proved.
