Sequential formulae for the \(\varepsilon\)-subdifferential of the sum and composition of two convex and lower semicontinuous functions defined in reflexive Banach spaces are established without assuming any regularity conditions. Various results from the literature are rediscovered as special cases or improved. As an application similar formulae for extended vector-valued mappings involving a vector strong \(\varepsilon\)-subdifferential are derived.
