From the abstract: In this paper, some Harnack type inequalities are established satisfied by positive solutions of nonlocal inhomogeneous equations arising in the description of various phenomena ranging from population dynamics to micro-magnetism. For regular domains, also an inequality up to the boundary is derived. The main difficulty in such a context lies in a precise control of the solutions outside a compact set and the existence of local uniform estimates. This problem is overcome by proving a contraction result that makes the \(L^1\) norms of the solutions on two compact sets \(\omega_1 \subset \subset \omega_2\) equivalent. Also, the principal positive eigenfunction is constructed associated with some specific nonlocal operators, using the Harnack type inequalities.
