This paper presents interesting results on exponential stabilization by impulses. The authors consider two kinds of nonimpulsive second-order equations which can be unstable (see examples). Then, under the action of preassigned moments of impulse and some hypotheses, they prove that an exponential stable solution can be obtained by the method of Lyapunov functionals. In particular, the results apply to the case when the times of impulse action are periodic.
