    The family of hyperbolic Pascal triangles based on the mosaic \(\{p, q\}\) is a generalization of Pascal's triangle, where two parameters \(p\) and \(q\) mean that exactly \(q\) pieces of regular \(p\)-gons meet in each node of the mosaic, satisfying \((p-2)(q-2)>4\). The main purpose of this paper is to extend the hyperbolic Pascal triangle based on the mosaic \(\{p, 4\}\), so that the constant \(1\) sequence is varied by two arbitrary sequences \(\{\alpha n\}_{n\ge 0}\) and \(\{\beta n\}_{n\ge 0}\) on the two legs. This also generalizes a ternary homogeneous recurrence relation. One of the tools is the application of linear recurrences. Then explicit formulae and generating functions are described. By presenting a general result on linear recurrences sequences diverted by an arbitrary sequence, the main results are proved. Some examples are shown by using the Fibonacci sequence.
