One of the methods to describe solvable Lie algebras with given nil-radical consists of considering outer derivations of this nil-radical. In the present paper, the authors extend this method to the case of Leibniz algebras and obtain a classification of solvable Leibniz algebras with a naturally graded filiform nil-radical.
