Let \((M, d, m)\) be a metric measure space. The paper is devoted to an investigation of the \(L^2\)-gradient flow of the \(q\)-Cheeger energy, e.g., \[ f \mapsto \frac{1}{q}\int_M |\nabla f|^q d m. \] Using the method developed by \textit{L. Ambrosio} et al. [Invent. Math. 195, No. 2, 289--391 (2014; Zbl 1312.53056)], the author proves that the \(q\)-heat flows is a solution to the generalized gradient flow problem of the Renyi entropy in the \(p\)-Wasserstein space.
