In the present paper, the problem of non-existence of real hypersurfaces in a complex two-plane Grassmannian is discussed. In fact, it is proved that there does not exist any connected Hopf hypersurface \(M\) in the complex two-plane Grassmannian, equipped with a semi-parallel normal Jacobi operator, if the principal curvature of the Reeb vector field is non-vanishing and the component of the Reeb vector field in the maximal quaternionic subbundle or its orthogonal complement is invariant by the shape operator. The results obtained in this paper are interesting.
