Classical Schur positivity asserts that the reverse dominance ordering on partitions of \(m\) with two parts determines, and is determined by, a positivity condition on characters of tensor products of simple \(\mathfrak{sl}_{2}\)-modules: if \(s_{m}\) denotes the character of \(V(m)\), we have \[ (m_{1},m-m_{1}) \preceq (m_{2},m-m_{2}) \Leftrightarrow s_{m_{2}}s_{m-m_{2}}-s_{m_{1}}s_{m-m_{1}}\in \sum_{k\geq 0} \mathbb{Z}_{\geq 0} s_{k}. \] This is deduced from a surjective map of \(\mathfrak{sl}_{2}\)-modules \[ V(m_{2})\otimes V(m-m_{2}) \twoheadrightarrow V(m_{1})\otimes V(m-m_{1}). \] Similarly, one may deduce from character identities for Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules (see for example [\textit{V. Chari} and \textit{D. Hernandez}, Contemp. Math. 506, 49--81 (2010; Zbl 1277.17009)]) for \(U_{q}(\widehat{\mathfrak{g}})\) (also called \(Q\)-systems) the existence of a surjective map of \(\mathfrak{g}\)-modules \[ \mathrm{KR}(m\omega_{i})\otimes \mathrm{KR}(m\omega_{i})\twoheadrightarrow \mathrm{KR}((m+1)\omega_{i})\otimes \mathrm{KR}((m-1)\omega_{i}). \] The present work brings together Schur positivity and \(Q\)-systems to prove in particular that for \((m_{1},m-m_{1}) \preceq (m_{2},m-m_{2})\) there exists of a surjective map of modules \[ \mathrm{KR}(m_{2}\omega_{i})\otimes \mathrm{KR}((m-m_{2}\omega_{i})\twoheadrightarrow \mathrm{KR}(m_{1}\omega_{i})\otimes \mathrm{KR}((m-m_{1})\omega_{i}). \] Indeed, similar maps are constructed for partitions with arbitrarily many parts, corresponding to higher tensor products.
