For a bounded domain \(\Omega\subset \mathbb C^n\) consider the following Dirichlet problem for the complex Monge-Ampère operator \[ (dd^cu)^n=fdV \;\text{in} \;\Omega \;\text{ and } \;u=\varphi \;\text{ on } \;\partial \Omega. \] The problem of the regularity of the solution \(u\) to the complex Monge-Ampère equation, under different assumptions on the domain \(\Omega\), the boundary values \(\varphi\) and the density function \(f\), has been extensively investigated by many authors. The aim of the present paper is to prove Hölder regularity of the solution \(u\). Namely, the authors prove the following result. Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded \(\mathcal C^2\)-smooth pseudoconvex domain of finite type \(m\geq 2\), let \(\varphi\in \mathcal C^{\alpha}(\partial \Omega)\) with \(0<\alpha\leq 2\), and let \(f\in L^p(\Omega)\) with \(p>1\). Then the unique solution \(u\) to the complex Monge-Ampère equation belongs to \(C^{\beta}(\bar \Omega)\), where \[ \beta=\min(\frac {\alpha}{m},\frac {\gamma}{m})\quad\text{with}\quad \gamma<\frac {2}{qn+1}\text{ and }\frac 1p+\frac 1q=1. \]
