The author treats the operators of the form \(f\longmapsto \psi(x)\int_{\mathbb R^N}f(\gamma_t(x))K(t)dt\), where \(\gamma_t(x)\) is a \(C^\infty\) function on a neighborhood of the origin in \((t,x)\in \mathbb R^N\times \mathbb R^n\), satisfying \(\gamma_0(x)\equiv x\), \(\psi\) is a \(C^\infty\) cut-off function supported on a neighbourhood of the origin in \(\mathbb R^n\), and \(K(t)\) is a multi-parameter fractional kernel supported on a small neighbourhood of the origin in \(\mathbb R^N\). When \(K\) is a Calderón-Zygmund kernel, the above operators were studied by \textit{M. Christ} et al. [Ann. Math. (2) 150, No. 2, 489--577 (1999; Zbl 0960.44001)]. And, when \(K\) is a multi-parameter singular kernel, they were studied by \textit{E. M. Stein} and \textit{B. Street} [Math. Res. Lett. 18, No. 2, 257--277 (2011; Zbl 1239.42019); Adv. Math. 248, 736--783 (2013; Zbl 1329.42014); ibid. 229, No. 4, 2210--2238 (2012; Zbl 1242.42010)]. They put conditions on \(\gamma\) so that the above operators are bounded on \(L^p\) \((1<p<\infty)\). Under the same conditions on \(\gamma\), the author introduces non-isotropic \(L^p\) Sobolev spaces associated to \(\gamma\), and studied their properties. And, when \(K\) is a fractional kernel which is smoothing of an order, he proves mapping properties of the above operators on these non-isotropic Sobolev spaces. As a consequence, he discusses optimal smoothing properies in isotropic Sobolev spaces for the above operator.
