    Let \({\mathfrak g}\) be a simple finite-dimensional Lie superalgebra with a non-zero Killing form, which is not a Lie algebra. Their complete list is \(A(m,n)\) with \(m\neq n\), \(B(m,n)\), \(C(m)\), \(F(4)\), \(G(3)\) and \(D(m,n)\) with \(m\neq n+ 1\), see [\textit{V. G. Kac}, Adv. Math. 26, 8--96 (1977; Zbl 0366.17012)]. Let \(\widehat{\mathfrak g}\) be the affinization of \({\mathfrak g}\). By using a previously proved analogue of the Weyl denominator identity for finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras in [\textit{M. Gorelik}, Prog. Math. 295, 167--188 (2012; Zbl 1292.17006)], the author proves the Weyl denominator identity for \(\widehat{\mathfrak g}\).
