The Kiselman monoid is defined by \(\mathcal K_n=\langle a_1,a_2,\ldots,a_n\mid a_i^2=a_i,\;a_ia_ja_i=a_ja_ia_j=a_ja_i,\;1\leqslant i<j\leqslant n\rangle\). Here are established identity bases for \(\mathcal K_2\) and \(\mathcal K_3\) and it is proved that the identities of \(\mathcal K_n\), \(n\geqslant 4\) are not finitely based.
