The paper studies the dynamics of a meromorphic multivalued self-map \(f: X \to X\) of a compact Kähler manifold \((X,\omega)\) of dimension \(k\). It obtains an upper bound for the topological entropy \(h(f)\) in terms of the growth of the graph \(\Gamma_{[n]}\) of \((id.,f,f^{2},\ldots,f^{n})\) in \(X^{n+1}\). The main result is stated in the following theorem. Theorem. \[ h(f) \leq \lim_{n \to \infty} \log \left(\text{vol} (\Gamma_{[n]}) ^{1/n}\right) = \max_{0\leq p \leq k} \log \left( \left\| (f^{n})^{*}(\omega^{p})\right\|^{1/n}\right). \] For the special case of a holomorphic map in \(\mathbb C\) this was proved by Gromov [\textit{M. Gromov}, Enseign. Math., II. Sér. 49, No.~3--4, 217--235 (2003; Zbl 1080.37051)], and for meromorphic maps in \(\mathbb C\) by the authors [Ann. Math. (2) 161, No.~3, 1637--1644 (2005; Zbl 1084.54013)]. The above theorem answers a question by M. Gromov (see also [\textit{S. Friedland}, Entropy of algebraic maps, Proc. of the Conf. in Honor of J.-P. Kahane (Orsay, (1993)]).
