Leavitt path algebras are non-Noetherian non-commutative algebras that have proved useful as examples or counter-examples of numerous ring theoretic conditions. They are constructed from a locally finite digraph \(E\) and a field \(K\) by defining \(L_K(E)\) to be the \(K\)-algebra generated by the vertices of \(E\) with relations determined by geometric properties of the directed edges of \(E\). The particular ring theoretic property, Property (A), studied in this paper is that every finitely generated two-sided ideal consisting entirely of left zero-divisors has a non-zero right annihilator. The main results are several sets of necessary and sufficient conditions on \(E\) for \(L_K(E)\) to have Property (A).
