The authors classify the left-invariant conformal foliations on \(4\)-dimensional Riemannian Lie groups with minimal leaves of codimension \(2\). Note that due to Baird and Eells, such foliations give complex-valued harmonic morphisms. The authors show that these complex-valued harmonic morphisms are not holomorphic with respect to any integrable Hermitian structure. In the second part, they construct new conformal foliations with minimal leaves of codimension \(2\) on Riemannian Lie groups of higher dimensions. These examples show that one of the main results in [\textit{P. Baird} and \textit{J. C. Wood}, Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 64, No. 1, 170--196 (1992; Zbl 0755.58019)] does not hold if the dimension is greater than \(3\).
