The purpose of this paper is to prove several sharp bounds for circular and hyperbolic functions as well as for their products and ratios. Examples are powers for sinc functions and powers of products of sinc functions and `sinc-hyp functions'. In the proof of Proposition 1.5, an infinite product for sinh is used. Several other variants of the Bernoulli inequality are proved using logarithmic series expansion. Finally, some new bounds for ratios of sine and cosine functions and for ratios of sinh and sine functions are proved using infinite products and Fourier series for powers of \(\pi\). Throughout, the notation \(x\in IR\) is used in the proofs.
