The equilateral number of a finite dimensional normed space is the maximum cardinality of a set of equally spaced points. It is conjectured to strictly exceed the dimension, but this has only been proved up to dimension 4. Three new estimates are presented here of the equilateral number for subspaces of fixed codimension in \(\ell_\infty^n\). These establish more particular cases of the conjecture.
