The \(k\)-th Raney number is defined by \(\displaystyle{ R_{p,r}(k) = \frac{r}{pr+k}\binom{pk+r}{k}.}\) These numbers are a generalisation of the Catalan numbers (take \(p=2\), \(r=1\)). In [\textit{W. Mlotkowski}, Doc. Math. J. DMV 15, 939--955 (2010; Zbl 1213.44004)], it was shown that the \(k\)-th Raney number is the \(k\)-th moment of a probability measure. Explicit densities were given in [\textit{K. A. Penson} and \textit{K. Życzkowski}, ``Product of Ginibre matrices: Fuss-Catalan and Raney distributions'', Phys. Rev. E 83, No. 6, Article ID 061118 (2011; \url{doi:10.1103/PhysRevE.83.061118})] and [\textit{W. Mlotkowski} et. al., Doc. Math. J. DMV 18, 1573--1576 (2013; Zbl 1291.44016)] for integer and rational \(p > 1\), respectively. In the paper under review, the authors give explicit measures for every real \(p > 1\) and every \(0 \leqslant r \leqslant p\). Applications of the method used to some related probability measures but without finite moments are also given.
