Let \(\mathbf{m}=(m_0,m_1,\ldots,m_n)\) be an arithmetic sequence whose entries form a minimal generating set of its corresponding numerical semigroup denoted by \(k[\Gamma(\mathbf{m})]\), i.e., the homomorphic image of the polynomial ring \(R\) in \(n+1\) variables over the field \(K\). The authors obtain explicit formulas for the Betti numbers of \(k[\Gamma(\mathbf{m})]\) over \(R\) by showing that they depend only on \(m_0\) and \(n\) which was conjectured in [\textit{P. Gimenez} et al., Contemporary Mathematics 555, 87--95 (2011; Zbl 1237.13027)]. As a consequence, the authors also provide a proof of a conjecture of Herzog and Srinivasan that the Betti numbers of \(k[\Gamma(m_0+j,m_1+j,\ldots,m_n+j)]\) over \(R\) are eventually periodic in \(j\) of period \(m_n-m_0\).
