The paper is devoted to the study of derivations on certain classes of unbounded operator algebras. Let \(M\) be a von Neumann algebra with a faithful normal semi-finite trace \(\tau\), and denote by \(L(M)\) the algebra of all measurable operators affiliated with \(M\). Given \(p\geq 1\), put \(L^p(M,\tau)=\{x\in L(M): \tau(|x|^p)<\infty\}\), which is a Banach space with respect to the norm \(\|x\|_p=(\tau(|x|^p))^{\frac1p}\). The authors prove that the Arens algebra \(L^\omega(M,\tau)=\bigcap_{p\geq1}L^p(M,\tau)\) and the related algebras \(L_2^\omega(M,\tau)=\bigcap_{p\geq2}L^p(M,\tau)\) and \(M+L_2^\omega(M,\tau)\) are complete metrizable locally convex \(*\)-algebras. They consider these classes of unbounded operator algebras and, as the main result, it is proved that any derivation of the algebra \(M+L_2^\omega(M,\tau)\) is inner and any derivation \(d\) of the algebras \(L^\omega(M,\tau)\) or \(L_2^\omega(M,\tau)\) is spatial and implemented by an element \(a\) of \(M+L_2^\omega(M,\tau)\) in the sense that \(d(x)=ax-xa\) for each \(x\) in the domain of \(d\). As a corollary, it is obtained that commutative Arens algebras (in particular, the algebra \(L^\omega(0;1)\)) admit only zero derivations.
