Explicit solutions of Schrödinger equations for general potentials are usually hard to come by. Here the authors devise an iterative scheme to solve the Schrödinger equation for any dimension \(N\) and arbitrary angular momentum for the potential \(\frac{g^2}{2}(r^2 -1)^2\). For this they use spherical coordinates and an iteration scheme which is based on factoring out a trial function. The hardest and central part of the paper is the proof of the convergence of this sequence. Some explicit calculations illustrate the results. However, the authors do not indicate the use and usefulness of their methods.
