The authors study in the paper the flatness of the Universe, i.e. they give a definition of the exactly flat Universe and of the nearly flat Universe. In view of a rigorous definition the authors introduce a quantifying parameter. Both cases of a finite Universe and infinite Universe are discussed. The current observation data are examined to establish an upper limit on the flatness parameter magnitude.
