Some applications of seesaw duality to branching laws (Q1906502): Difference between revisions

The paper gives some applications of seesaw duality in the theory of Weil representations to obtain the decomposition of certain representations of a group over a non-Archimedean local field when restricted to a subgroup. The results obtained suggest that local root numbers play a major role in these special branching laws.
