This paper is a continuation of the same author's paper [\textit{I. V. Polikanova}, Sib. Math. J. 26, 851-859; translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 26, 90-100 (1985; Zbl 0581.52003)[ which studies the properties of shortest geodesics in a neighborhood about a point of strict tangency on an \(m\)-dimensional surface in \(n\)-dimensional Euclidean space.
