Let \(G\) be a compact Lie group and \(G/H\) some homogeneous space (\(H\) is a closed Lie subgroup in \(G\)). Let \((-,-)\) be the biinvariant inner product on \(G/H\) (if \(G\) is semisimple, \((-,-)=-B(-,-)\), where \(B\) is the Killing form on Lie algebra \(g\) of Lie group \(G\)). Let \(p\) be the orthogonal complement of \(h\) (the Lie subalgebra in \(g\), which corresponds to \(H\)) in \(g\); \(p\) is the \(Ad(H)\)-invariant module. A homogeneous space \(G/H\) space is called as generalized Wallach space, if the module \(p\) can be decomposed as a direct sum of three pairwise orthogonal Ad(H)-invariant irreducible modules \(p_1,p_2,p_3\), such that \([p_i, p_i] \subset h\) for \(i = 1, 2, 3\). The other (initial) name of such spaces is ``three-symmetric spaces''. Among examples of such spaces are Wallach spaces \(\mathrm{SU}(3)/T_{\max}, \mathrm{Sp}(3)/\mathrm{Sp}(1) \times \mathrm{Sp}(1) \times\mathrm{Sp}(1), \mathrm{F4/Spin}(8)\). There are many other examples of such spaces, e.g., the manifolds of complete flags in the complex, quaternionic, and Cayley projective planes. In this paper the complete classification of all simply connected generalized Wallach spaces is given. Also some related results about normalized Ricci flows and invariant Einstein metrics on such spaces are considered.
