Nonhomogeneous initial-boundary value problems for nonlinear diffusion-convection equations (Q5952715): Difference between revisions

It is studied existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the following diffusion-convection equations with nonhomogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions \[ {\partial\over \partial t}u(t,x) -\Delta \beta(u(t,x)) +\text{div}(b(x)\phi(u(t,x))) = f(t,x,u(t,x)),\quad t>0,\;x\in\Omega, \] \[ u(0,x)=u_0(x),\quad x\in \Omega, \qquad u(t,x)=g(t,x),\quad t>0,\;x\in\partial\Omega. \] The dependence of the regularity of the solution from the regularity of the boundary data \(g\) and the large-time asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of the above problem are also discussed.
