With the aid of the geometrical properties of a Maxwellian surface (which is spanned by flow and field lines) certain theorems have been established. These theorems shed light on the behaviour of steady, incompressible, hydromagnetic flows admitting complex-lamellar acceleration and simple geodesic motion.
