On the abstract Cauchy problem in spaces of almost periodic distributions (Q2644830): Difference between revisions

The author introduces the almost periodic vector-valued distributions, as an extension of almost periodic scalar distributions of L. Schwartz. A characterization of the infinitesimal generator A of an almost periodic distribution group is given in terms of resolvent and spectrum of A. Applications to the Cauchy problem for \(U'=AU\) are given. In the last section a generalization of a result of H. O. Fattorini on strongly continuous operator cosine functions generator is given and applications to \(U''=AU\) are pointed out.
