A space \((X,d,\mu)\) on a set \(X\) with metric \(d\) and measure \(\mu\) is said to be an RD space if the well-known doubling property of \(\mu\) is complemented by a reverse doubling property \[ \mu \big(B(x, ar) \big) \geq C \, \mu \big( B(x,r) \big), \] where \(B(x,r)\) are balls and \(a,C >1\), \(0<ra < \text{diam }X\). \(B^s_{p,q} (X)\) are Besov spaces and \(F^s_{p,q} (X)\) are Triebel-Lizorkin spaces on \(X\), where \(0<s<1\), \( \frac{n}{n+s} <p<\infty\), \(0<q \leq \infty\) (modification for \(F\)-spaces). It is the main aim of this paper to prove (Theorem 1.2) that these inhomogeneous spaces can be equivalently quasi-normed as the intersection of corresponding homogeneous spaces with \(L_p (X)\) and, if \(p\leq 1\), local Hardy spaces \(h_p (X)\).
