On certain structures defined on the tangent bundle (Q2477927): Difference between revisions

The present paper proves that a manifold \(M\) endowed with a generalized almost \(r\)-contact structure, induces a \(GF\)-structure [cf. \textit{K. L. Duggal}, Tensor, New Ser. 22, 238--242 (1971; Zbl 0236.53037)] on the tangent bundle \(T(M)\). Furthermore, the authors study prolongations of an \(F\)-structure of rank \(r\) and odd degree \(k\) [cf. \textit{J. B. Kim}, Tensor, New Ser. 29, 299--302 (1975; Zbl 0304.53031)] to the \(r\)-order tangent bundle \(T_r(M)\) of a manifold \(M\).
