It is the aim of the paper under review to present effective majorizations of the geometric and the arithmetic Hilbert-Samuel functions for any dimension. The geometric version of the main result is generally formulated for the Hilbert-Samuel function of a graded linear system of invertible sheaves on any integral projective scheme over a field, while the arithmetic version works for any projective arithmetic variety defined over an algebraic integer ring. To this aim, the author use the \(\mathbb{R}\)-filtration method in the context of Arakelov geometry.
