    From the authors' introduction: Let \(G(k,n)\) be the complex Grassmann manifold of all \(k\)-dimensional subspaces in complex vector space \(\mathbb{C}^n\). For a harmonic map \(\varphi : M \rightarrow G(k,n),\) where \(M\) is an oriented Riemann surface, \textit{S.-S. Chern} and \textit{J. G. Wolfson} [Ann. Math. (2) 125, 301--335 (1987; Zbl 0627.58017)] obtained a sequence of harmonic maps \(\varphi_{\alpha},\varphi_{-\alpha}\) by using \(\partial'\)-transforms and \(\partial''\)-transforms. Theorem 1.1. If \(\varphi : M \rightarrow G(k,n)\) is a homogeneous harmonic map, then \(\varphi_{\alpha},\varphi_{-\alpha},\) \(\alpha =1,2,\dots\) are all homogeneous.
