On a compact oriented Finsler surface with boundary \((M,F)\) the authors consider the \(X\)-ray integral action \(I_{\Gamma }\) associated with the function \(\psi (\gamma )=f(\gamma (t))+\alpha _{\gamma (t)}(\dot{\gamma} (t))\), where \(f\) is a smooth function, \(\alpha \) is a smooth 1-form on \(M\) and \(\gamma \in \Gamma \) is a smooth curve in \(M\) between boundary points, having no conjugate points and being parametrized by arc length. The main result proved by authors is that the kernel of \(I_{\Gamma }\) consists only of the elements \(\psi \) with \(f=0\) and \(\alpha =dh\), where \(h\) is a smooth function on \(M\) such that \(\left. h\right| _{\partial M}=0\).
