A class of linear switching systems is considered in the presence of a time-varying input delay. A truncated prediction feedback (TPF) control is proposed. Under a Hurwitz convex combination condition, the authors construct a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and prove that the proposed TPF control globally asymptotically stabilizes the corresponding closed-loop system. Finally, they present a numerical example of a switching system with unstable sub-systems. The corresponding simulation results show that this system can be globally asymptotically stabilized.
