The authors study the uniqueness problem of transonic shocks in steady potential flow past a two-dimensional slightly perturbed infinite wedge. Uniqueness is proven by applying apriori estimates to show that any two transonic solutions coincide. Perturbation with respect to the direct wedge is either arbitrary or such that the wedge is convex: in the latter case the condition is much less strong.
