    The authors give characterizations for uniform exponential stability of linear skew-product flows \(\pi=(\Phi,\sigma)\) on the product space \(X \times \Theta\) of a Banach space with a metric space. One of their results states that \(\pi\) is uniformly exponentially stable if and only if there exist a nondecreasing function \(N : \mathbb{R}_+ \rightarrow \mathbb{R}_+\) with \(N(0) = 0\) and \(N(t)>0\) for all \(t > 0\), a sequence \((t_n) \subset \mathbb{R}_+\), \(x_0 \in X\) and constants \(K,\delta > 0\) such that (i) \(\sup_{n \in \mathbb{N}} | t_{n+1} - t_n| < \infty\), (ii) \(\sup_{\theta \in \Theta} \sum_{n=0}^\infty N(\| \Phi(\theta,t_n)x\| ) \leq K\) for all \(x\) in the \(\delta\)-ball around \(x_0\). In the course of the paper, they give a unified treatment of discrete and integral conditions for uniform exponential stability and apply it to evolution families.
